1. Take a Break

Get your blood flowing and clear you head with a short five-minute walk. Get outside for some fresh air and a change of scenery. You’ll be surprised how refreshed and renewed you’ll feel!

2. Make a To-Do list

When you get to work in the morning, make a list of all the tasks you have to do. Tackle the more demanding tasks in the morning when your energy levels are at it’s highest. Checking things off your list will also leave you feeling accomplished!

3. Healthy Snacks

Eating the right foods can help you increase your productivity! High-protein, high-fiber snacks are best for productivity. If you’re going to snack on fruit, add some peanut butter for energy and two pieces of high-fiber bran crisp bread. Or pair a handful of high-fiber cereal with a flavored Greek yogurt.

4. Stay Hydrated

When the body is dehydrated, all your systems are working at a less-than-ideal capacity. This makes it harder for you to stay focused and be productive. Make sure you’re drinking at least 6-8 glasses of water per day!

5. Delegate Tasks

Delegating tasks is crucial to your productivity. Acknowledge the fact that you can’t tackle everything on your own and will need help from your colleagues/employees. Take advantage of everyone’s strengths when delegating and this will help maximize productivity. Not only will this allow tasks to get done more quickly, but this only gives you with more time to finally call those sales leads or tackle that big marketing project!

6. Sleep Early and Get Up Early

Going to bed late and waking up early the next day will be detrimental to your productivity the next day.  If you are half-awake at work, then the odds are that your quality of work will suffer. As long as you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep every night, you should be on you’re A-game!
